Soooooo yesterday 13th June - I was VERY lucky to go to the naming of the new cruise ship ROYAL PRINCESS which was named by the Duchess of Cambridge (Kate - Prince William's wife). IT WAS SHAMMMAZZZZZINNNNGGGG!! Still on a high but need to get back to work at some point. I could quite easily get used to swanning around in a posh dress drinking champers!

Geordie Mugs at North East Chilli Festival
Been drawing lots of food stuff lately and kitchen type things too. Got a new product line on the go - this is a snippet of a tea towel which will be available to buy at the North East Chilli Festival - taking place at the beautiful Seaton Delaval Hall on 6th and 7th July. We don't as a company do fairs but this one is very special - it attracts thousands of visitors and we are lucky enough to be one of the only a non food companies at this event.

Wot Fettle?? Postcards and Blogs
I've been getting lots of love for my new Cumbrian Card range which has been picked up by one large very influential business in Cumbria and by several lovely boutique independent stores. The locals love the range too with lots of lovely emails and tweets about sayings. I'm just finishing a range of postcards which are going to print later this month.
Its always nice to get a mention on a lovely blog so we (myself and Jane my biz partner) were delighted when we interviewed by Hannah from My First House. It was almost like being stars - well without the makeup, autographs and after show alcohol! Thanks for the post Hannah - it can be read by clicking here MYFIRSTHOUSE

Wot Fettle??
YAY!! My new range has just gone on sale today for Cumbria its called WOT FETTLE and currently is a range of all occasion greeting cards and a couple of mugs. Its already been shown to a few customers who love it and now can order it. Very happy - I love Cumbria and the Lake District so this will be a great excuse to go up there and see how its doing. Their dialect is fab - I love dogs and love the fact they call dogs - JEWKELS! Very funny.

Mug Gate
AAArrrggghhh our mug supplier decided to stop manufacturing the mugs we have been using (unless we bought 8 billion from them) so we have had several weeks of what we refer to as "Mug Gate". Finally after lots of emails, phonecalls, wasted sampling fees we have now sorted out "Mug Gate" and have just ordered our first bulk order as had completely ran out of mugs!! The designs work even better as they are printed from top to bottom - they look really fresh. Phew! They are due to hit the shops next week. Copy cats beware we are going to kick your ass with our new products! wwwhahahahaha! #strokesbigwhitecat

Talk about stress! Been uber muber shuber (trying to emphasise the point) busy lately. Now got FIVE brands - the latest being Cumbria - Wot Fettle - going out to the shops right now in order to catch the start of the season in the Lake District. Heres a look at one of the designs. In addition to GETTING THE MANC (North Divide) STUFF INTO THE LOWRY GALLERY - woo hoo!! Very happy about that. Phew its all go!
We are also very happy about the blog from JoJo too - she's an amazing mother and writer and blogger have a look. http://jojokirtley.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/anyone-else-geordie-manc.html

Perfect Paper Pug
Its my friends birthday this weekend and she has everything including a lovely Pug dog called Albert. So I spent this weekend creating a paper mache dog for her - he is sooooo cute. I'm pleased he's going to a good home as I dont think I'd be able to part with him otherwise. I did a radio interview last week too, was talking about buying British. Was great to be asked to participate as business, keeping things local and creating employment! (form an orderly queue for autographs please)! Laters XX
